I was the "small" & "skinny" guy who was just trying to fit in. But that got old real quick. I wanted a change and knew I had so much more potential in life, not only physically but mentally as well. That is when my passion for fitness & health blossomed.
I have been weight lifting for 12+ years, have competed in various bodybuilding shows (with the want to compete in more!), and received my BS degree in Exercise Science.
I started Dynamic Movement with a mission to help change people's lives by giving them the tools they need to achieve a healthier, sustainable lifestyle. I was sick of seeing all of the cookie cutter programs with no aim to actually help the individual. There are a lot of those out there and it is hard to know what is real and what is not. When I hear someone is doing that new fad diet, restricting themselves, or eating foods they hate just to have the "perfect" body or shed that weight quick, my red flag meter officially goes off.
No one should be torturing themselves to reach their goals. There is a WAY better way we can do this - through a scientific approach.
You are not going to reach your ideal weight or ideal body overnight. It just doesn't work that way. This takes TIME and a lot of WORK. If you don't put in the work, you won't see the results.
For my clients, I create weekly meal plans with weekly grocery lists fit to their lifestyles and needs. I include their favorite foods, avoid foods they dislike, and make sure to include only the most delicious meals/recipes.

Sure, you may make improvements but, if your mental health is in the same state, you will go right back to what you're used to. Bringing you back to square one.
